We’re celebrating something pretty special at PTA Events - we’ve officially raised an incredible £50 million through our platform. That’s £50 million going straight back into supporting schools, charities and community groups across the UK.
At a time when school budgets are increasingly under pressure, PTA fundraising is playing a vital role in bridging funding gaps for essential resources, enrichment opportunities and pupil experiences that might otherwise be out of reach. This milestone represents thousands of parent volunteers, school leaders and communities working together to make a difference!
PTA Events was founded in 2013 by David Cooke after volunteering at his children’s school, Ravenscote Junior School in Surrey.
David saw first-hand how difficult it was for PTA volunteers to juggle ticketing, payments, spreadsheets and communication tools across multiple systems. PTA Events was built to simplify everything in one place.
Ravenscote PTA was the first school to use PTA Events when it launched back in 2013. Since then, an impressive £289,000 has been raised through the platform.

"We’ve been using PTA Events for ticketing and managing our events such as the ever-growing annual fireworks display, which now attracts over 5,000 people from the local community. The money raised through these events has funded a wide range of projects including our book bus, new computers, school minibus, our Raven Haven project and so much more."

Friends of Meersbrook Bank School began using PTA Events more recently. Despite being a small school of only 210 children, they have ticketed 20 events and fundraisers on the platform, raising over £14,000.

For things where safety and safeguarding are important, being able to add mandatory questions has been really valuable - not sure how we'd manage allergies and parent pick ups without it!
